One person sustained serious injuries after the vehicle he was in collided with another vehicle before overturning at the corners of Stanger Street and Somtseu Rd just after 8am.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that the one vehicle had rolled coming to rest on its roof and the second vehicle had fled the scene. The driver of a delivery vehicle was found lying next to his vehicle having suffered serious injuries. Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilize the man on scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
