Western Cape: Yesterday (2015-10-01) at about 09:00 Police in Gugulethu conducted ‘Operation Turn Around’ in Gugulethu.
During this operation members conducted a searched warrant for a well-known unlicensed liquor outlet in Gugulethu. Crime is high in the surrounding areas of this outlet.
This outlet supplies liquor to surrounding taverns as well as the well-known Mzoli’s Tavern. Police confiscated 5 764.53 liters of alcohol and have arrested the 43-year-old owner, he was later released on a warning to appear in court at Phillipi on 2015-10-21.
