A boy aged about 12 years old has sadly passed away. He was hit a bakkie that was traveling on the N11 in the vicinity of Nandi bridge, in the Amajuba district.
Paramedics from KZN Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene earlier today. They found the child lying on the road. The paramedics tried to resuscitate the child, however sadly the child didn’t respond to the treatment and he passed away at the scene.
The exact circumstances resulting in the crash are being investigated by the police and further comment on the cause of the crash will need to be obtained from them police.
