Late on Saturday night Netcare 911 paramedics were called to a head-on crash along the R 59 in Alberton. Exact detail to the cause of the crash is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the crumpled remains of the vehicles and accident debris consistent with a high impact collision spread across the roadway. Tragically, they found that three people had died due to the extensive injuries that they sustained, one person was found to have serious injuries.
Paramedics stabilised the patient at the scene and then transported him to a local hospital for further medical care.
