Tragically the driver of a vehicle has passed away after being involved in a horrendous collision in Highbury Road Wentworth just after 10pm on Saturday night.
Rescue Care Paramedics found a single vehicle had rolled several times after colliding with a pole on Highbury Road. The driver had been ejected from the vehicle whilst it was rolling. Paramedics assessed the driver and found that he had suffered major injuries and there was nothing more paramedics could do for him. He was declared deceased on the scene.
SAPS was in attendance and will be investigating the incident further.
