One person was killed today in a collision involving only a bakkie. The collision occured on the R30 just outside Welkom in the Free State. There were no other vehicles involved.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene they found that the man had allready succumb to his injuries which included head and neck trauma. ER24 paramedics declared the 37-year-old man dead on scene.
The cause of the incident remains unknown, but local authorities were on scene for further investigation.
