Netcare 911 paramedics this afternoon responded out to a pedestrian crash along the R102 in Umgababa near the Ultra City. Reports from the scene indicate that a thirteen-year-old boy tried to cross the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle.
Netcare 911 paramedics a medic from Amanzimtoti fire and the provincial services arrived at the scene and found the child lying on the roadway with severe injuries. Paramedics stabilised him at the scene before they transported the seriously wounded patient to a hospital in Scottburgh for the care that he required.
