Taxi rolls near Pietermaritzburg injuring 14

14 people were left injured this morning after a taxi and light motor vehicle collided on Durban Road in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu Natal.

When ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on scene, they found a taxi lying on its side while a light motor vehicle sat, parked on the side of the road.

On assessment, paramedics found that 14 people had sustained only minor injuries in this incident.

Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries while metro services closed off the road, due to oil leaking from the taxi.

Once treated, all the patients were transported to various hospitals for further assessment.
