Car collides with a light pole and a wall and then the vehicle burst into flames

A man is lucky to have escaped with moderate injuries after the vehicle he was in somehow lost control before colliding with a light pole and a wall and then the vehicle burst into flames. The incident happened on Bluff Road near Shamrock Road around 11pm on Sunday evening.

Rescue Care Paramedics arrived to find that a single vehicle had somehow lost control and collided with a light pole and a wall before coming to rest on its roof, it then burst into flames. The single driver was very lucky to escape serious injury and was treated on scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.

Bluff Road was closed whilst emergency personal worked to clear the scene. SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
