This morning at 0435, Netcare 911 paramedics were dispatched to a crash scene on the N3 near the Frankford off ramp. Reports from the scene are that the family consisting of two adults and two children was traveling along the N3 when the vehicle left the road and overturned rolling several times.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found accident debris and the twisted frame of the vehicle spread over a large area. Tragically, a six-year-old boy was found dead on our arrival, two adults and a toddler was found to have sustained serious injuries.
Paramedics stabilised the injured at the scene before transporting them to various hospitals for the care that they required.
