This morning at around 01h00 Netcare 911 paramedics were called to the M4 near the Umhlanga off ramp. Reports from the scene indicate that the vehicle was traveling towards Durban when he veered off the roadway and overturned several times.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the crumpled remains of the vehicle had come to rest in the breakdown lane of the M4, accident debris was found spread over a large area. After medics examined the injured they found that a man and a woman had sustained serious injuries.
Paramedics stabilised the injured at the scene before transporting them to various hospitals in the area for the care that they required.
