A pedestrian was knocked over by a light motor vehicle yesterday afternoon. The collision involved only one vehicle. When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene they discovered that the man had sustained massive injuries. ER24 assessed the man and initiated advanced life support and actively resuscitated the patient.
However, the man’s vital signs deteriorated and was declared dead on scene. The passengers and driver of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries. The cause of this incident remains unknown, but local authorities were on scene for investigation.
