This afternoon at 12h38 Netcare 911 paramedics received a call for a taxi that overturned along Edendale Road near Henley Dam. Exact detail to the cause of the crash is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the taxi had come to rest on its roof next to the roadway. After they triaged the injured it was found that a female had sustained life-threatening injuries while eight others sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor.
Paramedics stabilised the injured at the scene before they transported them to various hospitals in the area for the care that they required.
