Successful mountain rescue in KZN

A woman fell at Kloof Gorge while on one of the trails. Paramedics and rescuers from KZN Emergency Medical Services, several private services  as well as the police SAR and fire department responded to the case.

The rescuers had to hike about 35 mins to reach the woman aged about 35 years old who had injured her leg. The patient was stabilised and carried out of the gorge on a rescue stretcher with help from all services that were on scene.

She was transferred to a nearby  hospital in a stable condition.
