One person sustained minor injuries only in a collision involving two light motor vehicles on the M4 near the Umgeni River bridge this morning.
The man was attended to on scene by Crisis Medical paramedics and later refused transport to hospital.
The cause of the collision is unknown and will be investigated by the necessary authorities.
Traffic was severely affected as part of the roadway remained closed while emergency services worked to clear the scene.
