Three people have been injured following Taxi and vehicle collision in Pietermaritzburg

Three people were injured in the early hours of the morning after a taxi and light motor vehicle collided at the Boshoff and Bulwer Road intersection in Pietermaritzburg.

ER24 paramedics were returning to their branch when the two vehicles collided in front of them.

On assessment, paramedics found that three people from the taxi had sustained only minor injuries in the collision.

Fortunately no other injuries were found on scene.

Paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to Mediclinic Pietermaritzburg and Northdale Hospital for further treatment.

Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
