A man was critically injured and a woman sustained moderate injuries in a collision on the N1, Belville Cape Town, this afternoon.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found that three vehicles were involved in the collision. The woman was found standing next to the car she was travelling in. She was assessed and treated for moderate injuries.
The man was found trapped in the same vehicle. Fire and Rescue Services extricated him.
He was assessed by paramedics and treated for his injuries.
Both patients, believed to be in their 20s, were transported to hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of the collision is unknown. Authorities were on scene.
