This morning just after 7am EMER-G-MED’s A11 and I01 were dispatched to the corners of Louis Botha and Atholl, in Highlands North.
On arrival paramedics found that a taxi had T-boned a car, allegedly after skipping a red traffic light.
Eleven people sustained minor to serious injuries, with one patient requiring Advanced Life Support care.
The patients were treated on-scene before being transported to various nearby hospitals for further care.
