Three people have been injured, two seriously so after a single taxi lost control and rolled several times on NMR Avenue on Saturday night just before 7pm.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the badly damaged taxi. One passenger had been ejected from the vehicle and was found lying on the roadway. Rescue Care’s Advanced Life Support Paramedic stabilized the injured man before transporting him to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required. The driver and one other passenger were also injured and were also transported to a nearby hospital.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
