A man believed to be in his fifties is in a critical condition after he was hit by a taxi on 15th Avenue and corner Jade street in Centurion, Gauteng.
Reports from the scene indicate that the man was crossing the road at the time of the accident.
Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene and managed to stabilise the man.He has been transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
The accident happened this afternoon around 12h30.
