Five people, including two children aged seven and three years old, have sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor following a head on collision involving two light motor vehicles on the R23 in Witfontein, Kempton Park.
Netcare911 paramedics worked together with other paramedics on scene to stabilise the injured.
All injured have been transported to various hospitals in the area for further medical care.
The accident happened this afternoon around 17h00.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
