One seriously hurt in M4 crash

A male driver, believed to be in his late twenties has been left with serious injuries after losing control of his vehicle at high speed, causing it to overturn, on the M4 Ruth First highway early this morning.

Crisis Medical paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 5am, to find a single light motor vehicle lying on its roof. The driver and only occupant, had managed to free himself from the wreckage and was found lying on the roadway next to the vehicle.

He sustained serious head injuries and advanced life support intervention was needed to stabilize him before he was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care.
