Six hurt in Glen Ashley taxi smash

Six commuters have been left injured after a minibus driver lost control of his vehicle on the M4 near Glen Ashley shortly after 5pm this evening. Reports from the scene indicate that the driver allegedly lost control of the taxi at high speed, colliding with three other light motor vehicles, before coming to a rest on an embankment. Six people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate in severity and were treated on scene before being taken to nearby hospitals by Crisis Medical ambulance for further care. Traffic was severely affected and the necessary authorities were on scene to assist.
