On 2 February 2016 at about 11:00, police from Crime Intelligence and the Johannesburg Flying Squad were following up on information about a car which was on its way to rob an unknown business around Gauteng . The suspects saw police and sped off . Police gave chased untill the car crashed inside the Langlaagte testing station. Three suspects jumped out and ran away. One suspect was arrested and one R5, an AK47 and pistols were recovered.
