Earlier this morning EMER-G-MED’s M01 and A11 responded to reports of a collision involving two taxis on the corner of Smit and Klein, in Hillbrow.
It is believed that the one taxi’s brakes failed, causing it to rear-end a stationary taxi at speed.
Six people were left with minor to moderate injuries. They were treated on-scene before being transported to various nearby hospitals for further management.
Local authorities were on-scene to investigate.
