Six people were injured this morning following a collision between two vehicles on the R82 in Walkerville.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found that two vehicles, a bakkie and light motor vehicle, had collided and now lay next to the road.
On further assessment, paramedics found that six patients had been injured, their injuries ranging from minor to critical.
Paramedics from various services began their treatment and provided the seriously injured patients with advanced life support interventions.
Once treated, the patients were transported to various hospitals in the area for further treatment.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
