2 Bike collisions leave 3 injured

Two separate motorbike collisions on Friday evening have left three people injured.

Just after 4:30pm Rescue Care Paramedics were called to the intersection of Esther Roberts Road and Davenport Road. On arrival paramedics expected the worst when they found the bike still stuck under the vehicle. The driver had sustained moderate injuries and was stabilized by Rescue Cares Advanced Life Support paramedic before being transported to a nearby hospital for further care.

Shortly after this just before 6pm Rescue Care Paramedics responded to a second motorbike collision on Argyle Road near Avondale Road for yet another bike accident. On arrival paramedics found that the two occupants of the bike had been injured, one seriously so. Paramedics worked to stabilize the young lady on the scene before transporting her to a nearby hospital for the further care that she required.

SAPS was in attendance at both these collisions and will be investigating them further.
