A twenty-two-year-old woman has sustained serious injuries after she was struck by a vehicle on Pomona road in Kempton Park.
According to reports, she was on a bicycle crossing the road when she was struck by the light motor vehicle.
Paramedics managed to stabilise her on scene before transporting her to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
The incident happened at about 17h00.
