On Monday night at 21h20 Netcare 911 paramedics received a call for a crash on the N5 between Harrismith and Kestel. Reports from the scene indicate that a Toyota Venture and a truck collided, exact detail to the cause however will remain a subject for police comment.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that three people from the Venture sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor, the truck driver escaped without injuries. Medics treated the injured at the scene before they transported them to a nearby hospital for the care that they required.
