A man has sustained serious injuries after he was assaulted during a hijacking in Midrand, Gauteng.
According to reports the man was hijacked in Midrand and driven to Christina de Wit Avenue near The Groenkloof Nature Reserve where paramedics found him to be in a serious condition.
According to the man he was assaulted while he was being driven around.
Netcare911 paramedics managed to stabilise the injured man on scene before transporting him to a Pretoria hospital for further medical care.
The incident happened this afternoon at about 14h30.
