On Saturday evening at 22h32 Netcare 911 paramedics received a call for a two-vehicle collision at the Merlewood intersection in Marburg on the KZN south coast. Exact detail to the cause of the crash is still speculative and will form part of the police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that five people had sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor. Medics treated the injured at the scene before they transported them to various hospitals for the care that required.
