Mother and son among those injured in Cape Town collisions

Six people were injured in two collisions in Cape Town earlier this evening.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at Constantia Main Road, at the M3, they found that a taxi and a car had collided. There were ten people in total in the taxi. Upon assessment of the people, it was found that four were injured. They were treated for minor to moderate injuries and transported to hospital for further medical care. No one from the car was injured.

The second incident took place at Ladies Mile Road in Bergvliet, Cape Town.

ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found that a taxi and bakkkie had collided. The taxi driver, the only one in the taxi, was uninjured.

The occupants of the bakkie, a mother and son, were assessed.

The woman sustained moderate injuries and the child sustained minor injuries.

The exact cause of both incidents is unknown. Authorities were on scene.
