At 12h52 this afternoon, The Netcare1 helicopter was dispatched to the N4 near Bronkhorspruit, where a fifty-four year old man had sustained serious injuries after his vehicle was pushed off the road by two drivers that were allegedly racing .
Reports from the scene indicate that the injured man’s car landed in the veld and he sustained serious injuries.
The exact detail to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
When Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene they managed to stabilise the seriously injured man on scene before airlifting him to a Pretoria hospital for further medical care.
