This afternoon at 17h02 Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a pedestrian crash along the M41 in Umhlanga Ridge. Reports indicate that a man in his thirties tried to run across the roadway at the construction area when he was hit by a vehicle.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying on the roadway with serious injuries. Medics stabilised the man at the scene before transporting him to a hospital in Durban for the care that he required.
