A thirty five year old man has been left with a spinal cord injury after being struck by a light motor vehicle on Umhlanga Rocks Drive this morning.
Reports from the scene indicate the man was struck by the vehicle whilst attempting to cross the busy road, shortly after 7am.
He was treated and stabilized on scene before being taken to hospital by Crisis Medical ambulance for further care.
