Thirteen people have sustained various injuries after the taxi they were travelling in overturned on the M4 North bound just after Quality Street on Wednesday morning around 10 :30am.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a single taxi had lost control and overturned coming to rest on its side. Rescue Care Paramedics found that thirteen people had sustained various injuries. More ambulances were called to assist with the multiple injured. Once all of the injured had been stabilized they were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
AT this stage it is unclear what caused the taxi to roll however the necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating further.
