Three men were injured this afternoon when a light motor vehicle crashed into them on Kendal Road in Plumstead in the Western Cape.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the three men seated on the side of the road. The light motor vehicle had parked in the centre of a traffic circle a few metres away.
On assessment, paramedics found that all three men had escaped serious injury.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to N1 City Hospital for further treatment.
The driver of the vehicle fortuantely did not sustain any injuries.
It is understood that the driver failed to notice the workers on the side of the road.
Local authorities will be investigating further.
