At approximately 10am this morning EMER-G-MED’s RV6 and A06 were dispatched to reports of a motorist suffering a medical event on the N1 South after New Road, in Midrand.
Minutes after receiving the call paramedics arrived on the scene to find a car stopped in the fast lane. On assessment paramedics found that the driver was in a critical condition and required rapid Advanced Life Support intervention.
Once stabilised the motorist was rushed to a nearby provincial hospital for further stabilisation and treatment.
