One person has been killed and five other people have sustained injuries varying from serious to moderate on the R30 between Ventersdorp and Klerksdorp in North West.
Reports from the scene indicate that one vehicle overturned.

When Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene , we found paramedics from the provincial emergency service already on scene.
Those injured were treated and transported to hospital by Province.
One man was declared dead on scene.
