A 22-year-old man is in a critical condition after he was knocked down by a vehicle on Dolomite Street in Carletonville late last night.
Shortly before midnight paramedics from ER24 arrived on the scene where they found the young man still lying in the middle of the road. Paramedics found him with severe fractures and possible internal injuries. An emergency medical helicopter was called to the scene to airlift him to Milpark hospital for further care.
The driver of the vehicle was assessed on scene but found with no injuries. The exact cause of the incident is not yet known. Local police attended the scene.
