A man believed to be in his thirties has died after he was struck by a vehicle on the N2 before the Spaghetti Junction in Durban.
When Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene they found the man to be in a critical condition.
Paramedics performed Advanced Life Support care to the man and managed to stabilise him before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
Prior to arrival at the hospital the man went into Cardiac Arrest in the ambulance, paramedics then initiated CPR but sadly there was nothing more they could do for the man.
Upon arrival at the hospital the man was declared dead by a Doctor.
This incident happened this morning at about 10h40.
