On Sunday afternoon Netcare 911 paramedics raced out to a residence in Raisethorpe, Pietermaritzburg for a shooting incident. Exact detail to the cause of the shooting and preceding events is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation.
Paramedics arrived at the residence and found that a man and a woman had tragically died due to the extensive injuries that they sustained, one person was found to have sustained serious injuries. Medics treated the wounded patient at the scene before transporting the patient to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
