Two men were left critically injured this evening after an apparent hit-and-run on the Elandsdrift Road, west of Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found two men, lying 15 metres apart, in the middle of the road.
On assessment, paramedics found that both men had sustained serious injuries to their legs and pelvis. Both men were found to be in a critical condition.
Paramedics treated the patients and provided them with advanced life support interventions.
Once treated, both patients were transported to Baragwanath Hospital for further treatment.
The vehicle in question was apparently not found on the scene.
Local authorities will be investigating this incident further.
