Shortly after 06:00 this morning,
Crisis Medical Paramedics responded to a Motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Broadway and Hoylake Drive .
On arrival paramedics found that a light motor vehicle that had rolled before colliding with a tree and then the wall of one of the roadside properties. A male of 23 years old sustained minor injuries and was transported to hospital for further care.
According to eyewitness reports, the driver lost control of the vehicle after taking the bend at high speed and hit a stormwater drain which then caused the vehicle to roll.
The necessary authorities were in attendance and are investigating the incident further.
