Young biker slams into highway barrier on the N1 in Randburg

A man in his 20s was injured this morning after his motorbike crashed into the highway barriers on the N1 North before the Beyers Naude off-ramp in Randburg.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find both the biker and his vehicle in the fast lane of the highway.

On assessment, paramedics found that the man had sustained moderate injuries to his foot, legs and pelvis.

The patient was treated for his injuries and was thereafter transported to a private hospital for further treatment.

Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
