12 People were left injured after a collision occurred on 14th Avenue in Roodepoort, Gauteng. The collision occurred in peak hour traffic this morning and involved three vehicles. One of the drivers allegedly lost control of one of the vehicles which led to the collision.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found that two people had sustained moderate to serious injuries and ten others had minor injuries. ER24 treated and transported a total of ten patients to Helen Joseph Hospital for further treatment. The remaining patients were treated and transported by other medical services on scene. The actual cause of the incident remains unknown.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigation.
