At least fourteen people have sustained injuries varying from serious to moderate after a bus and a taxi collided with each other on the R513 and corner Zambezi drive in Derdepoort, Pretoria.
Reports from the scene indicate that there were no passengers in the bus.
Netcare911 paramedics worked alongside other services on scene to stabilise the injured.
One person is in a critical condition while thirteen others have sustained serious to moderate injuries.
All injured were transported by ambulance to various hospitals in the area for further medical care.
Traffic has been affected, motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
