On Saturday night EMER-G-MED’s RV6, M07 and A01 responded to reports of a serious collision on Grayston Drive close to the M1 in Wynberg.
The events leading up to the collision are unclear, but on arrival paramedics found that a car had left the roadway after being rear-ended. The second vehicle had fled the scene.
The driver sustained moderate injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention. Once stabilised on-scene the patient was transported to hospital for further assessment.
