A 24-year-old man is in a serious condition after his bakkie collided with a tree on Cussonia Street outside the Pretoria Botanical Gardens.
Shortly after 1am this morning, paramedics from ER24 arrived on the scene where they found the man lying outside his vehicle. It is not clear how he got out of the vehicle. Paramedics found him with several fractures and lacerations. They stabilised him on scene and rushed him to Steve Biko Academic Hospital for further treatment.
The exact cause of the collision is not yet known.
