A multiple vehicle collision this morning on the N12 in Lenasia has left two people with minor injuries.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found that a truck and five light motor vehicle had been involved in the incident.
It is believed that a truck overturned in the centre isle between the highways. Five vehicle then collided into the overturned truck.
Contents from the truck, believed to be either salt or sugar, was found spread across the scene.
On assessment, paramedics found that the male driver as well as a woman from one of the light motor vehicle had sustained only minor injuries. Fortunately, no serious or fatal injuries were reported on the scene.
Paramedics treated the patients and transported them to Baragwanath Hospital for further treatment.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
